Liquid-cooling connector

This is a high-precision, stainless-steel external‑thread, tube‑insertion type liquid‑cooling pipeline connector, manufactured via an integrated CNC turning process. The component features a stepped shaft design, integrating an external thread, a hexagonal locking surface, and a tube‑insertion section. It serves multiple functions—pipeline connection, sealing and secure fixation, and fluid conveyance—and is suitable for liquid‑cooling heat‑dissipation pipelines in industrial equipment and new‑energy systems. It exhibits high pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, low flow resistance, and exceptional connection reliability.
  • Product Description
  • 1. Material and Craftsmanship

    • Core material : Made from 304/316L medical‑grade and industrial‑grade stainless steel, it exhibits excellent resistance to corrosion by coolant fluids (water/glycol solutions), can withstand the pressure surges typical of liquid‑cooling systems, and is suitable for long‑term cyclic operating conditions, while also meeting equipment requirements for cleanliness and low impurity leaching.
    • Processing technology : Employing high-precision CNC turning, the component is formed in a single operation, ensuring excellent coaxiality between the external threads, hexagonal face, stepped locating surface, and insertion tube section. Thread accuracy meets standard tolerance requirements, and the sealing surfaces are polished to achieve tight contact with the sealing ring, enabling zero leakage under high pressure. The surface undergoes passivation treatment to enhance corrosion resistance and surface finish, thereby reducing the risk of fluid residue and bacterial growth.

    2. Structural and Functional Analysis

    • Overall structure : The part features a multi-segment stepped cylindrical structure, which is sequentially divided from left to right as follows:
    1. External thread end : The left end is a standard external thread section, with a complete thread profile and high precision, designed for direct connection to equipment ends or internal-threaded pipeline interfaces, enabling quick assembly and reliable sealing.
    2. Hexagonal locking surface : A hexagonal locking surface is integrated on the right side of the threaded section, facilitating tightening with a wrench or socket tool, ensuring proper torque and sealing for the threaded connection, and preventing loosening and leakage.
    3. Positioning Seal Section : The right side of the hexagonal face features a multi-step structure, incorporating a sealing‑ring mounting groove and a locating step. This design accommodates an O‑ring to provide radial sealing while simultaneously constraining the connector’s axial position, thereby enhancing assembly accuracy and sealing reliability.
    4. Intubation segment : The right end features a smooth cylindrical insertion section, with an outer diameter that matches the corresponding flexible or rigid tubing. It can be directly inserted into the pipeline and secured using clamps or crimping, enabling rapid connection between the pipeline and the equipment.
    • Core Features As the terminal connector of a liquid‑cooling system, it provides a sealed connection between the equipment‑side threaded interface and flexible or rigid tubing, ensuring stable coolant circulation. Its multi‑stage sealing and locking design effectively prevents pipe loosening and leakage under high‑pressure and vibration conditions, thereby enhancing the operational stability of the liquid‑cooling system.

    3. Features and Application Scenarios

    • Sealing and Pressure-Resistance Performance : Precision-machined threads and sealing grooves, in conjunction with a sealing ring, achieve an ingress protection rating of IP65 or higher, withstand the typical operating pressures of liquid‑cooling systems, and prevent equipment failures caused by coolant leakage.
    • Compatibility and Installation Convenience : The combination of a standard external thread, a hexagonal locking surface, and an insertion‑tube section enables compatibility with liquid‑cooling pipelines and equipment interfaces of various specifications. Installation is convenient and requires no special tools, making it ideal for mass assembly and on‑site maintenance.
    • Durability and Environmental Adaptability Stainless steel’s excellent corrosion resistance and high hardness enable it to withstand prolonged cyclic conditions, including fluid erosion, temperature fluctuations, and mechanical vibration. It is resistant to rust and deformation, thereby extending the service life of fittings and reducing equipment maintenance costs.
    • Application areas It is widely used in liquid-cooling thermal management systems for industrial robots, servo motors, new-energy battery packs, data-center servers, and energy-storage devices, serving as a core foundational component for fluid transport and equipment connectivity.
