Liquid-cooling connector

This is a high-precision valve‑core assembly for liquid‑cooling systems, manufactured from stainless steel using an integrated CNC turning process. It features a rod‑shaped core with a supporting structure and comprises three main components: a sealing head, a valve stem, and a guide‑support disc. As the core component of a liquid‑cooling pipeline control valve, it enables fluid on/off switching, flow‑rate regulation, or unidirectional flow control, while delivering superior sealing performance, low friction resistance, and excellent resistance to fluid erosion—making it ideally suited for the long‑term, stable operation of high‑pressure liquid‑cooling thermal management systems.
  • Product Description
  • 1. Material and Craftsmanship

    • Core material : Constructed from industrial-grade 304/316L stainless steel, it exhibits excellent resistance to corrosion by coolant fluids (water/glycol solutions), withstands the pressure surges and temperature fluctuations of liquid‑cooling systems, and is suitable for long‑term cyclic operating conditions. For certain high‑load applications, heat‑treated stainless steel may be selected to enhance surface hardness and wear resistance.
    • Processing technology : Employing high-precision CNC turning and integrated forming processes, the concentricity of the sealing head, valve stem, and guide support plate is tightly controlled. The sealing surfaces undergo mirror‑polishing, resulting in a low surface roughness that ensures tight contact with the valve seat for zero leakage. The guide holes in the support plate are manufactured using precision forming, with smooth, burr‑free edges to minimize fluid turbulence and pressure‑drop losses.

    2. Structural and Functional Analysis

    • Overall structure : The component is a symmetrical rod‑shaped valve spool, consisting of three parts:
    1. Sealed end : The left end features a stepped sealing head, comprising a circular sealing surface and a locating step. The sealing surface serves as the mating interface between the valve plug and the valve seat, achieving fluid on/off control through tight contact with the seat. The stepped structure is designed to accommodate a sealing ring or provide axial positioning, thereby enhancing sealing reliability.
    2. Valve stem body : The valve stem is a smooth cylindrical shaft with a uniform diameter and a highly polished surface, minimizing friction during movement within the valve body and ensuring responsive, stable operation of the valve plug. The stem is integrally molded with both end assemblies, eliminating welded joints and thereby reducing the risk of fluid leakage.
    3. Guide support disc end : The right end features a support plate with flow‑guiding holes; the plate is equipped with symmetrically arranged holes through which the coolant can pass. At the same time, the support plate serves as a guide for the valve spool’s movement, preventing stem misalignment and seizing, thereby ensuring the coaxiality and stability of the spool’s motion.
    • Core Features : As the core actuating component of a liquid‑cooling system control valve, it regulates the mating and separation of the sealing head and valve seat via axial movement of the valve stem, thereby enabling on/off switching, flow regulation, or one‑way check functionality in the liquid‑cooling circuit. The guiding and supporting structure ensures that the valve spool remains centered under high‑pressure fluid impact, maintaining stable sealing performance and precise operational accuracy.

    3. Features and Application Scenarios

    • Sealing performance : The mirror-polished sealing surface, combined with precisely machined mating dimensions and a sealing ring, achieves zero-leakage sealing, withstands the typical operating pressures of liquid‑cooling systems, and prevents equipment failures caused by coolant leaks.
    • Action stability The design of the guide support plate effectively constrains radial displacement of the valve spool, reduces friction and the risk of sticking during stem movement, and enhances the control valve’s response speed and operational reliability.
    • Durability and Fluid Compatibility : The stainless steel material offers excellent corrosion resistance and high hardness, enabling it to withstand prolonged fluid erosion and wear from reciprocating motion, while remaining resistant to rust and deformation. An optimized design of the flow‑diverting holes minimizes fluid turbulence and pressure drop, thereby enhancing the flow efficiency of liquid‑cooling systems.
    • Application areas It is widely used in industrial equipment, new‑energy battery packs, data center servers, and liquid‑cooling thermal management systems for energy‑storage devices, serving as a core foundational component for precise control of liquid‑coolant flow.
